To produce a vision and direction for Center Citys next ten, twenty,
even fifty years of growth and development, the 2010 Plan must represent
the history, interests, needs, ideas, traditions and insights of Charlotte,
while addressing the concerns of its citizens.

Center City Partners:
Charlotte Center
City Partners (CCCP): Coordinating the work of the Consultant Team and
the input of citizens and government agencies, CCCP is the central point
of contact, information and direction for the Center City 2010 Plan. A
nonprofit organization that represents private sector interests in the
Center City, CCCP is funded by revenues from special tax districts and
serves as a catalyst for promoting and enhancing Center City.

City and County Government:
City and County
Government Agencies: In collaboration with CCCP, led by the Charlotte
City Managers Office, Mecklenburg County Managers Office,
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Planning Commission and the Department of Transportation,
representatives of city and county government agencies are directing and
reviewing the work of the 2010 Consultant Team throughout the process.
